Le Grand Chambon is a large charming old, house dating from 1825, situated in Northern Ardèche at 700 metres in altitude, the village of Saint-Symphorien de Mahun is 3 km away (200 inhabitants in its surrounding and 50 inhabitants in the village itself). Its 8 km away from Satillieu, 20km away from Annonay, and 40km from the motorway A7 (exit Chanas and Tain l'Hermitage).
Le Grand Chambon has two large appartments, each on two floors (130 and 170m2).
You'll find a wonderful selection of walking path, within a five kilometres range called GR and PR (chEmin de petites et grandes randonnées) IE: Gr7 GR4 GR42 GR421 GR430etc, and PR lead to Annonay, Tower Basin etc, those paths can be traveled on foot (with ass or no), mountain bike or horse back. In winter a nordic ski centre is held at La Louvesc which is six kms away travelling through the moutains. Last but not least landscapes are quiet and beautiful.
